Biography

Alisa M. Rosales joined the Law School as director of career and professional development in 2016 after serving as a Staff Attorney with the Wyoming Supreme Court’s access to justice division, Equal Justice Wyoming.  She has also led career services office at several law schools and is a national expert in public interest law career advising.  An active member of NALP, has served as an inaugural member of the Regional Resource Council, Public Service Section Chair, Legislative & Regulatory Task Force, PSJD Advisory Group, Emerging Jobs Task Force, Website Advisory Group, and Member Services Advisory Group. Alisa has presented to national audiences on topics as diverse as alumni engagement, first generation law students, social media, personal branding, PMF and Honors programs, public interest funding and LRAPs, and the changing public interest landscape.  She also served as a founding member and inaugural Chair of the Chicago Area Law School Consortium Public Interest Committee.

Given her varied career, she also serves the office in supporting students with her unique Rocky Mountains and Great Plains knowledge and connections. She earned her B.A. and J.D. from the University of Nebraska (Order of Barristers, Alumni Council Student of the Year) and her M.A. from DePaul.
