How to Register for Expense Reimbursement
Spring Law Day for Admitted Students

Please provide the following information:

  • Transportation
    The Indianapolis International Airport is the closest airport, about 60 miles from Bloomington. Please make your reservation and provide an original receipt of your airfare to the Law School during your visit. If you are traveling by car, you will need to indicate the point of origin for the trip on the communication in which you request reimbursement. We will reimburse up to $350.
  • Transportation from and to the Indianapolis airport
    1. You may either rent a car or arrange the following transportation to the IU campus. (University regulations prohibit reimbursement for rental cars.)
    2. Star of America Shuttle (www.soashuttle.com): You may book online and prepay the $19.00 fee one-way ticket directly to the Hilton Garden Inn. If you purchase a ticket at the airport, it will be $23.00. Shuttle schedule is on their web site.
    3. Yellow Cab Company (812-339-9744): $89.50 one-way
    4. Red Tire Taxi (812-269-2690; redtiretaxi@gmail.com): $80 one-way
    5. e2Taxi (812-961-8294): $60 one-way
    6. Provide receipts for transportation, and we will reimburse you up to $30. (University regulations prohibit reimbursement for rental cars.)
  • Hotel accommodations

    We have reserved a block of dual-occupancy (i.e., you'll be sharing with another admitted student) rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn for Friday and Saturday nights. If you would like to reserve one of these rooms, please e-mail the Admissions Office (lawadmis@indiana.edu) by March 14 in your e-mail response. (Do not contact the hotel directly.)

    If you would like to make your own hotel reservations, please save your receipts, and we will reimburse you up to $120.
