Law School Hosts 2nd Annual Alumni Summit

On Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, the Law School held its 2nd Annual Alumni Summit. A restructuring of the School's traditional Alumni Weekend, the summit included a full-day, all-advisory board gathering. The day began with a State-of-the-School address by Dean Lauren Robel, followed by meetings of the individual boards and our annual Distinguished Service Awards Ceremony & Luncheon, and ended with the Official Indiana University Maurer School of Law Naming Ceremony & Reception. Several alumni came to town a day early for the Environmental Law Society's annual "Evening at Oliver Winery" fundraiser, which was held on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009. Others stayed in Bloomington throughout the weekend to attend their 10, 20, 25, or 50 year Indiana Law reunion on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009.
