Office of Career & Professional Development
The Office of Career & Professional Development provides support to law
students in selecting a career path and obtaining
desired employment. Services include career counseling,
job-search training and programs, employer
visits, online job listings, employment publications,
employer databases, and a large resource collection.
Indiana Law graduates are found in all 50 states. The
largest populations outside Indiana include Illinois,
California, Michigan, Florida, New York, Ohio,
Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Texas.
Of Indiana Law's class of 2007, 98.5 percent found employment only nine months after graduation. Like all American law schools, Indiana Law reports employment statistics according to official NALP guidelines. The statistics include all full-time and part-time employed graduates, and all graduates enrolled in a full-time degree programs.

IU Joins the National Law School Consortium
The Office of Career & Professional Development is pleased to announce our membership with the National Law School Consortium (NLSC). Members of the NLSC are among the top public law schools in the country. Each school is extremely selective, enrolling exceptional students from diverse geographic locations and personal backgrounds. While each school boasts its own unique assets, all NLSC schools share an overarching commitment to students achieving the highest levels of academic and professional success. Other participating schools include George Mason University School of Law; University of Georgia School of Law; University of Illinois College of Law; University of Maryland School of Law; The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law; University of Washington School of Law; University of Arizona Rogers College of Law; University of California, Davis School of Law; and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Starting in August 2008 our students will be able to join the nine other law schools in job fairs around the county. Scheduled this year are Philadelphia, Washington, DC, New York, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles & San Francisco. More information on the job fairs can be found at NLSC
Baker & Daniels Diversity Scholarships

Indiana University School of Law—Bloomington has joined Law School Connect, a nationwide membership network providing remote interviewing capabilities to law schools, law firms, nonprofits, and judges together through videoconferencing.
