Halloween Trick-or-Treat
This year, the OWLS are sponsoring Trick-or-Treating at the law school. We will be advertising a start time of 4:30, with trick-or-treating lasting until 5:30. All faculty, staff and students at the law school who have children are invited to participate in this event.
For Trick-or-Treaters
We'll have a table on the 1st Floor (main entrance) where children can get "evidence bags" to hold their treats. And volunteers on each floor of the building will help direct the children to offices that are participating in the event. After the trick-or-treating, there will be a costume competition in the student lounge, with prizes awarded. There will also be punch and light snacks for the children in the lounge during this time.
Volunteers Needed
The following people have volunteered to head different areas, and we ask that you contact them to volunteer your services:
- Costume Competition: Nicole Bolden (fbolden (at) indiana.edu)
- Decorations (lounge) & Refreshments: Katherine Nolan (katnolan (at) indiana.edu)
- Greeters & General Administration: John MacKenzie (jpmacken (at) indiana.edu)
So - PLEASE help the kids—volunteer with one of these "committees." There is plenty of work to go around, including cleaning-up when the festivities are over.
