Jonathan Herring
2007 George P. Smith II Distinguished Visiting Professor-Chair
Jonathan Herring received a BA in Jurisprudence and a BCL at Oxford. He is a qualified
(non-practicing) solicitor. He has been a Fellow in Law and Director of Studies at New Hall,
Cambridge and a Lecturer in Law at Christ Church, Oxford. Mr. Herring writes on criminal, family and medical law.He is presently a Fellow at Exeter
College, where he has been since 1999, and will visit Indiana Law in fall 2007 as the
George P. Smith II Distinguished Visiting Professor-Chair.
