About the Colloquium

Indiana Law's new Tax Policy Colloquium provides a forum for students and faculty to engage in important discussions of tax law and policy and to participate in the development of cutting-edge tax research. This year's Colloquium series will feature six leading tax scholars from law schools around the country presenting works in progress on diverse aspects of federal taxation. The Colloquium takes place in a seminar-style setting, with faculty members and students actively engaged in discussion of each presenter's work. Leandra Lederman, the William W. Oliver Professor of Tax Law, will lead the Colloquium in spring 2009, and Professor Ajay Mehrotra will do so in spring 2010.

Faculty from other schools interested in attending any of the spring 2009 sessions listed below should contact Professor Leandra Lederman to obtain the speaker's paper. All attendees are expected to have read the paper in advance of the session and to allow student questions to take priority for the first portion of the question-and-answer period.
