This site reflects Professor Gjerdingen's Torts course for summer, 2009. A new site for summer, 2010, is expected in the spring.
This course introduces civil remedies for intentional and unintentional wrongs, including physical and psychic injuries to persons and damage to property; and distribution of the burdens of risk and loss in modern society.
