WestlawNext

Students, Welcome Back!

In addition to regular Westlaw, you now have access to WestlawNext.  WestlawNext is a new, one-step integrated searching version of Westlaw.  (However, not all documents currently available in Westlaw are available in WestlawNext and documents retrieved using WestlawNext cannot be sent to the Westlaw printer.)  To access WestlawNext, simply log-in to www.lawschool.westlaw.com using your OnePass Username and Password.  In addition to the choice of regular Westlaw, at the top of the Home page you will see a link to WestlawNext.  No other action is necessary on your part.  It is definitely worth playing with while you are still in law school.

Making of Modern Law: Primary Sources (1620-1926)

The Law Library now has access to Making of Modern Law: Primary Sources (1620-1926).

This database provides access to early state codes, city charters, documents relating to constitutional conventions, and other resources in American legal history from 1620-1926. It includes early Indiana material such as Burns’ Annotated Indiana Statutes (1881-1914), earlier State statutes from 1831, and materials from the Indiana Constitutional Convention (1850-1851).

It is listed on the Law Library’s Online Resources page under Legal Databases. Alternatively, here is a direct link (from off campus, you will be prompted for you UITS username and password):
