Explicit in the assigning attorney's instructions is the fact that she wants federal statutes.  There are three editions of the United States Code that are commonly held in law libraries:

  • United States Code
    •   (U.S.C.)

  • United States Code Annotated
    •   (U.S.C.A.)

  • United States Code Service
    •   (U.S.C.S.)
