12. Protective Order Renewal

Under IC 34-26-2-14, the court may extend the protective order, upon its own motion or upon the request of the Petitioner, without a hearing for an additional one year period. A motion to renew should be made before the order expires. The client should contact POP at least a month before the expiration to give us enough time to prepare the motion.
