Support the LLSA Dominican Republic ProjectThe Latino Law Students Association (LLSA) is collecting donations for the Dominican Republic Project. This winter, 16 students are joining Father Ronald Stanley on a trip to the remote mountains of the Dominican Republic. They would like to fill their duffle bags with 70 pounds of gifts that they can personally hand to impoverished children and their families. These will be the only holiday gifts these children will receive. A list of appropriate gifts follows. Please do not wrap presents, as everything must be open to pass through customs.
Monetary donations will also be accepted. Checks should be made out to "Dominican Republic Project." There is a donation box outside the LLSA office (across from the SLA office). The LLSA will also set up in the lobby during lunch hours to accept donations. For more information, contact Arlene Brens at email@example.com.
