Welcome to the web site for the seventh edition of Federal Public Land and Resources Law. The site supplements the book's material and reports updates on legal issues.
Maps, photographs, and other information to better understand the on-the-ground aspects of the cases explored in the book constitute the bulk of supplements in the book outline. An occasional, supplemental problem is also posted to help test and practice material at hand. Readers may also find links to key players in the disputes that the law seeks to resolve. The book outline provides access to supplementary study material for each chapter. Just click the "All detail" button for the chapter to see the supplemental material. The number inside of the black oval shows the number of updates for the chapter. Even for chapters with 0 updates, there will be supplemental material to explore through the "All detail" button.
This is a rapidly changing area of law, and the casebook coverage ends in early 2014. New cases, regulations, statutes, and events will be added to the book outline as they become available and relevant. The number inside of the black oval shows the number of updates for the chapter.
This password protected material is reserved for teachers who have adopted the casebook for a university course. It contains sample syllabi, exams, classroom exercises, "clicker" questions, PowerPoint presentations, and the teacher's manual.
