The Animal Legal Defense Fund (Student Chapter) SALDF
We are the only lawyers whose clients are all innocent!
We are a newly formed and enthusiastic official student chapter of the national organization, Animal Legal Defense Fund, which is made up of more than 700 attorneys who act as legal advocates improving the lives of animals around the country. Legislation is a powerful tool and can make a huge difference for animals. Indiana, for example, recently joined 35 other states in making animal abuse a felony.
Anyone who has an interest in animals (whether you are an animal-rightist, or an animal-welfarist, or just someone who cares about animals) is welcome. We encourage all law students with diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
