Biography
Isiah joined the Maurer School of Law after more than a decade working in higher education roles focused on student advising, fostering belonging, and professional development. Originally on the BFA track for double bass performance and teaching, his passion for supporting students emerged during his undergraduate experience and led him to pivot toward a career in higher education. That early interest in teaching and education continues to shape how he approaches his work today.
His background includes experience in residential life and recruitment at Indiana University and the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, where he worked closely with students navigating transitions and making important academic and professional decisions. Across these roles, he developed a student-centered approach grounded in building relationships, creating structure, and helping students move forward with confidence.
Isiah has developed and facilitated programs on student success, leadership, and career readiness, and he values creating spaces where students feel supported while also being challenged to think intentionally about their paths. Across his work, he is committed to helping students discover their values, clarify their goals, and make thoughtful decisions about their academic and professional futures.
