Biography

Morgan Kelly joined the Jerome Hall Law Library faculty and staff as a Visiting Assistant Librarian in September 2024, not long after graduating from Maurer with a J.D. + Minor in Education Policy. She was appointed Student Engagement Librarian in May 2025. Her work is focused on connecting students with library resources via outreach events, information sessions, and instructional workshops. She co-teaches Advanced Legal Research and is a member of the library’s accessibility committee. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Library and Information Science at Indiana University Indianapolis.

Kelly also has experience teaching in the IU School of Education, where she taught both graduate and undergraduate students about the intersection between the law and education policymaking in K-12 schools. She has co-authored articles on religious accommodations for students and teachers, special education and related services in public and private schools, and public charter school laws in all U.S. states and territories. She is a member of the Education Law Association, the Ohio Regional Association of Law Librarians, and the American Association of Law Librarians.
