Faculty Services

A primary mission of the Jerome Hall Law Library is to support the research and curricular needs of the Maurer faculty. Reference librarians are available to assist with research needs, and to provide classroom instruction on legal research sources and techniques. The Law Library also hires a pool of student research assistants (RAs) that are available to work with faculty on limited scope and short-term projects. Research services provided by the Law Library include compiling bibliographies and legislative histories, developing research guides, creating current awareness alerts, and locating materials. Reference librarians can also provide training on advanced legal research techniques for faculty-hired RAs working on more extensive projects. For a full listing of the services provided to law faculty, please consult the Faculty Handbook on the Faculty Intranet.
