Health Law Society

The Health Law Society is a student organization that hopes to increase awareness of the exciting and expensive healthcare industry. Since its founding in 2005, the Health Law Society provides students with numerous opportunities to sort through the various legal issues affecting the health care industry. Students will be able to examine many areas of health law and learn about matters the health care market faces in both the United States and abroad. They will also be able to learn about the diverse career paths they can take in health law, through valuable and diverse networking opportunities. Health Law Society will sponsor several engaging events throughout the year, including:

  • Panel discussions with local practitioners
  • Co-sponsored meetings and discussions with other student organizations at Indiana Law
  • Networking events with attorneys practicing in health law
  • Community service events

We have an interest in the practice areas of:

  • Business

  • Bioethics
  • HIPAA & Privacy
  • Healthcare Policy
  • Healthcare Fraud/Abuse
