Kelly Compton joined the Indiana Law School staff after working as an Assistant Recorder and Records Assistant for IU Bloomington's University Division Records Office.
Compton oversees the admissions process for each of the approximately 3,000 applications received each year. He coordinates with the Law School Admissions Council to ensure the timely delivery of applications, Law School Admissions Test scores, transcripts, and letters of recommendation. In addition, he manages the work of the Admissions Committee. He also coordinates with the Registrar, International Admissions, and the College of Arts and Sciences to ensure accomplishment of the necessary support actions for all applicants. He supervises the day to day operations of the admissions office and acts as the primary manager of the School of Law admissions database and the electronic application system.
Prior to his work at IU, Compton was a stay-at-home dad and was involved in various community volunteer organizations. He and his family live in Bloomington.
