Biography
Robyn M.H. Schuster joined Indiana Law in 2008 as assistant dean for communications and marketing. From 2003 through 2007, Ms. Schuster served as a commercial litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Arnold & Porter LLP. She maintained an active pro bono practice, and served an eight-month term as Arnold & Porter's loaned associate to the Legal Aid Society of D.C. She also was active on numerous law firm committees working on issues of recruitment, development and retention of associates.
Ms. Schuster graduated magna cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington in 2001. She received the Order of the Coif and was editor-in-chief of the Federal Communications Law Journal. She was a finalist in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition, a member of the National Trial Competition Team, and an intern at Student Legal Services.
Ms. Schuster clerked for The Honorable Sarah Evans Barker in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana from 2001-2003.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Schuster worked in both commercial publishing and corporate marketing. She earned her undergraduate degree in journalism from Indiana University, where she also served as editor-in-chief of the Indiana Daily Student.
Ms. Schuster is a member of both the Indiana and District of Columbia bars.
